It’s hard not to get thrilled about Halloween, whether you’re five or forty-five – there’s something about the candy and costumes filled atmosphere that we just can’t get enough of.

But you know what can be a real dampener?

Imagine getting all decked out to go trick-or-treating in the evening in your newly bought superhero or zombie costume, only to step outside your house and finding half your neighborhood wearing the same thing.

Real bummer, I know.

What can we do then?

It’s simple – pick a funny costume that’s going to stand out from the crowd!

Yes, I know how difficult picking a costume out can be, more so when you’re specifically aiming for a costume that no one else has, and to help you out, I’ve picked out some offbeat costumes that you’re sure to rock in.

I know, I’m nice like that.

1. Robot Man and Woman Costumes

We all love robots, don’t we? Of course, with how science fiction has evolved, so have robots, but here’s a costume that captures our fascination with robots and serves it up in a simplistic retro design.

Now all you need do is perfect your dance moves, because trust me, with this costume and your robot dance at a Halloween party, there’s no way you’re stopping short of being the next viral YouTube sensation!

2. Tasty Doughnut Costumes

Food is love, and anyone who says otherwise is just kidding everyone, themselves included.

Why not just show how much you love food by being food?

Now I like a good old fashioned skeleton costume as much as the next person – it’s simple, basic and can be… Bone chilling (bad pun, I know) when done right.

Well, that and if you want to dress up like pilots, because hey, pilots are cool.
