5 Christmas Costumes Buddy The Elf Would Love

Elf is a Christmas classic and one of the few Will Ferrell movies I actually like. If your family does not hang with Buddy during the holiday season, you should reconsider your family traditions. Anyways, it’s that time of year and I found these awesome Christmas costumes that anyone worth calling Santa’s helper would want. P.s., If you’re going Christmas caroling, you definitely need these in your closet.

5. Candy Canes Galore

Buddy the Elf is obsessed with sugar and this candy cane themed suit would make him jump for joy-- literally. He might attempt to eat the suit, but that’s besides the point. This outfit screams Christmas while sending out suave vibes. Also, the hat and cane are very mobster-esque. This Christmas costume is a winner and would make for a lot of big smiles on December 25^th.

4. Ho, Ho, Ho

This Christmas costume brings all of the holiday spirit. Buddy would love this entire outfit because it would remind him of home. However, he might mistake you for an actual elf. Honestly, this is one of the best Christmas outfits. It's comfortable and warm which is great, but I'd add a jacket if you live up north to avoid frostbite.

3. The Actual Santa Baby

Sorry, Jenny McCarthy, but you've been dethroned. Any child wearing this adorable Christmas costume takes the cake for "Best Santa Baby". So, no hard feelings? Just look at this precious face! For parents who love being festive, this outfit is perfect for your little one. It's simple, yet lovable and it'll keep your child snug. Buddy the Elf would definitely adore this ensemble and at this time of year, having Buddy's fashion approval is imperative.

2. Are There Milk-Bones In Your Stockings?

Okay, so let's say you hate Christmas caroling and dressing up, but want to show some holiday spirit. Why not have your pet wear this fantastic Christmas costume? Just make sure your dog or cat likes wearing clothes (cc. my cat ripped her last outfit to shreds in 30 seconds flat). If your pet is good with kids, I'd maybe even send him/her door to door with little treats. The holiday season is about bringing joy and being kind. Plus, Buddy would love this costume.

1. Chip And Dale's Better Half

Santa Claus would not be able to deliver presents to all of the world's children without his trusty steed(s). Sure, Rudolph got a lot of credit, but what about the rest of the crew? For all we know, Prancer could be the chillest reindeer on the planet. Show your appreciation for Santa's other helpers and let your personality shine with this amazing Christmas costume. Buddy would be your biggest fan. It's kid-friendly and laughter-inducing which makes it our number one Christmas costume!
