In the 1950s and 1960s, the Beatniks were a group of anti-establishment people before the hippie generation in America. They were a younger group of people. Much of what they did came through their artistic creations. They were reportedly also known for hanging out in coffee shops and playing bongo drums. Their signature colors were black and white.
